After almost a year of development, the Apple Watch version of BattView is now available.
What is BattView for Apple Watch
Just like the popular iOS app, it tests Bluetooth device battery levels.
Faster, Smarter, Better
Running automated battery tests on a Apple Watch is no easy feat. To save power and keep things efficient, BattView learns which devices have batteries and those that don't. The more you use BattView, the faster it gets.
Features
- Shows color coded % battery estimates for all devices in range
- Learns which devices have batteries for faster updates in future.
- Performs more comprehensive full scans to discover new devices that might have been missed.
- Watch face complication for quick single press launching.
Video
- Main Screen: Results of a default auto scan shows batteries level for devices in range. Devices without batteries are hidden. Press Re-Scan to do another battery scan.
You can press Auto → Full to change to full scanning mode. This scan takes a bit longer but it can find battery devices that were previously hidden.
Good news! Most users can stay on the Main Screen 100% of the time.
Here some of the optional things you can do: - Press ⚙ to show the Settings page. Press Large/Small to change font sizes. Press Restart the app and do another scan.
- Press Auto Scan to change between Auto and Full scanning modes (same as changing Auto → Full on the Main Screen).
- Press Edit Devices to see the list of previously scanned devices. Select a non-battery item to include in the next scan. Select a non-battery item to hide it from future scans.
- Press Clear Hidden to re-enable all hidden devices and re-scan. Press Reset All to clear all previously scanned devices.
